2011 South Africa Security Exhibition (IFSEC South Africa) was held in Gallagher exhibition centre, Johannesburg from 6th -8th Sep.
Shenzhen Dowse Electronics Co., LTD sent two colleagues responsible for Africa market to attend the Exhibition. The company always insists on product independent innovation, excellence principle, the prospective design concept and the stable quality of the product, which gain the preference of international buyers.
We two arrived at OR Tambo International Airport in Johannesburg on September 5th, 2011.
South Africa Security Convention is the largest, most professional and comprehensive Safety & Science and technology Exhibition in Southern Africa region. It focuses on the latest development in the field of Security and Protection, fire control and Security technology. This professional international security technology exhibition attracted more than 5000 professional buyers from 30 countries all over the world, among which 48% from other countries of Africa. More than 200 professional international security exhibitors came to attend the Exhibition. They together witnessed the latest technology and technical achievements in safety industry. There were 20 exhibitors from China, whose exhibition area exceeding more than 200 square meters.
South Africa is the largest economy in the African countries, with its SUMGDP exceeding 20% of the whole Continent and richness in natural resources. The South African government has been announced a $68 billion investment in infrastructure investment for the World Cup, including railway & highway transportation, network communication, electric power equipment, the construction of competition venues, and so on. It makes a significant expansion of construction industry and drives the contractors of hotel and related services, shopping center, and etc. successively enter the market and make a building boom. All these business activities will bring a huge market demand for the security & fire Industry.
In this exhibition, the trend of customers’ demand on the HD and IP products has increased apparently. And the Network Surveillance headend equipment-IP cameras have become a new market growth point. In order to adapt to the development of the industry and meet the demand of the market, the company has successfully launched the IP camera series like DS -7841 ZCR-IP with ICR function, which gains the consistent approval of foreign customers.
After the Exhibition we visited the Voortrekker Monument located at Pretoria -Capital of South Africa. From where we got an overview of the white ancestors’ struggle history with the South African native black 200 years ago and their road to democracy after the abolishment of the apartheid system in South Africa.
